Welcome to the Beta Theta Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority! We are a sorority located at the University of Manitoba and accept members from the University of Manitoba and University of Winnipeg. Being a part of Alpha Delta Pi is a life-changing event, not just for your university years, but for the rest of your life. The amazing women that you will meet and the things you will get to do as part of this international organization will stay with you for the rest of your life. Alpha Delta Pi was the first sorority ever founded, and we still carry with us the traditions laid down by our founders in 1851.

Alpha Delta Pi was founded by six collegians at Wesleyan College on May 15th, 1851. This university was the first college to ever offer degrees to women, and Alpha Delta Pi was the first sorority ever founded (which is why we say “first, finest, and forever!”). Our six founding members created the sorority based on four pillars: scholarship, sisterhood, service, and social. These main attributes still hold true today.

The Beta Theta Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was founded on the University of Manitoba campus in Winnipeg on September 30th, 1930. We have been active in the Greek community on campus for over 80 years, and participate in a variety of events on campus and in the community with the goal of making a positive impact on individuals while bettering ourselves.
